The admission test for the Master of Television and Film Studies program in the Department of
Television and Film Studies, University of Dhaka, will hold on May. you have to give admission test. Thirty (30) students will be admitted to the program.
 
Eligibility  
1.      Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with a second class standing/ a CGPA of
3.00 (on a four-point scale).
2.      Applicants must have a second division standing/a CGPA of 3.00 in both SSC and
HSC. 
3.      Applicants who studied in English Medium must have O-Level in five subjects with a
minimum CGPA of 2.5 and A-Level in two subjects with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. 
4.      Applicants must be less than 40 years old.

Selection procedure

All applicants must take the admission test. The test has two components—written and oral
examinations. The total score of the written examination is 75 and oral examination is 25. The
written examination will test an applicant’s command over Bengali and English language and
ability to analyze contemporary issues in culture, politics, economics and environment. The oral
examination will test an applicant’s ability to speak Bengali and English and study television and
film. To get admitted to the program an applicant has to score at least 15 out of 25 in the oral
examination.
Interested foreign nationals with a minimum IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent TOEFL score
should contact the Department.
 
How to apply

The application form is available online at http://tfsadmission.univdhaka.edu with instructions
for submission. The applicants have to submit the form online . Application fee
is Taka 1,000.00 plus bank service charge. Application fee can be paid at any branch of Agrani,
Rupali, Sonali, and Janata Bank across the country.
